Upoker mobile poker room has launched new 6+ Omaha tables. What is it and how to play it – in our today’s material.
In the Upoker room, besides the classic Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, there are other games. For example, the clubs have tables for Chinese poker, 6+ Hold’em, PLO5, PLO6, and Swap. What else is needed for the game variety? The developers did not stop there and rolled out a new discipline – 6+ Omaha.
It is not clear how long such tables will last. Perhaps the management of the room will decide this based on its popularity.
What is 6+ Omaha?
As with other disciplines, there are no major changes in the format. 6+ PLO is a short deck where the deck consists of 36 cards and the flush is higher than a full house. It is played with the rules of Pot-Limit Omaha.
Since the players receive twice as many cards at the beginning of the distribution, the tables have been reduced to a 5-max format. The betting system here has remained familiar to many players: ante is placed at the beginning. So far, 7 limits are available in the Upoker room with antes from $ 0.20 to $ 20.
Apparently, the room is not afraid of traffic smearing in cash games. Instead, the management gives its clients every opportunity to try out as many different disciplines as possible, without leaving other rooms. 6+ Omaha is very versatile, but no less interesting for amateurs.
