The largest mobile poker room PPPoker has received security updates. This time, it included four important points aimed at creating a fair and safe environment for players. Let’s take a closer look at the innovations.
Mobile rooms are quickly catching up with the classic ones in terms of security. For example, PokerBros has its own security service – Game Integrity. They make sure that players comply with the rules of fair play. PPPoker is not far behind – the administration announced the latest innovations designed to make the room even better.
Now the room has:
- Auto Interception System – an automatic system that monitors all players in real time according to more than 100 parameters. It works around the clock and is designed to detect bots and conspiring players;
- Restriction on joining tables – now tables have some restrictions. PC Restriction – you can play only when using a mobile client, Linked Email Restriction – only confirmed accounts by mail have access to the game, GPS / IP Restriction – tables are available only to players from some countries;
- Captcha – an additional protection tool against bots. Club administrators can independently enable an additional check that forces players to take a random small test.
The most interesting update turned out to be the following.
The points above are quite logical and understandable, but a lot of players do not agree with the next update. For the most part, these are regulars. Now software and third-party programs are prohibited from using PPPoker. Among them are converters for HUD output.
Emulators are forbidden, but they are not necessary. You can play without any problems with the mobile version of the room. But with the software, everything is ambiguous. The developers of the HUD converters claim that it is impossible to track their work, but whether this is actually so is unknown. There have not been any precedents yet, therefore, no sanctions have been applied to players for using the software.
